At AstraZeneca, we are an equal opportunity employer that puts patients first and strive to meet their unmet needs worldwide. Working here means being entrepreneurial, a team leader, thinking big and working together to make the impossible a reality.
AstraZeneca is redefining cancer care and we have a bold ambition to one day eliminate cancer as a cause of death. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Gynaecologic & Genitourinary Cancer Brand Communications to join us as a core member of the US Oncology Corporate Affairs team while collaborating with other teams across AstraZeneca. For more than 40 years, AstraZeneca has contributed to advancements in cancer care. As our understanding of G2 cancers has evolved, so have our medicines. We are working to bring these therapies to the people who need them – no matter their disease stage, disease subtype or zip code.
This role will lead US communications strategy for AstraZeneca’s leading cancer portfolio, including marketed brands and pipeline assets. This individual will manage brand-specific news flow milestones, data delivery at key congresses, internal communications, disease-relevant programs and more. The successful candidate will partner with the G2 Franchise and sit on the US leadership team, serving as a strategic communications advisor to the US Franchise Head and collaborating closely with commercial and medical teams. As a member of the US Oncology Corporate Affairs team, the candidate will collaborate closely across the enterprise to ensure a coordinated and compliant approach to external stakeholder engagement.
When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines. In-person working gives us the platform we need to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions. That’s why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office. But that doesn’t mean we’re not flexible. We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility. Join us in our unique and ambitious world.
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $146,716.80 - 220,075.20 USD.
