and Purpose
The Director of Transformation Analytics and Architecture is a leadership role responsible for owning and executing the data strategy of the Transformation Management Office (TMO). This leader bridges the gap between technical data architecture and business goals by managing a multi-function team of Managers, AI Engineers and Data Architects, among others. As the Director of Transformation Analytics and Architecture, you will lead the evolution of our data and AI ecosystem. You will transform complex enterprise data into actionable insights that drive growth, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across all departments.
Essential Functions:
Leadership: Champion and lead the Transformation Analytics and Data Architecture Units and roadmap aligned with TMO and organizational goals.
Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of Managers, Engineers, Architects and Analysts, among others.
Data Governance & Quality: Partner with Analytics Leadership Team to establish enterprise-wide data standards, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with regulations like HIPAA.
Infrastructure Ownership: Lead data architecture/engineering to manage and implement data warehouses (e.g., Fabric, Databricks) and ensure scalable, high-performing BI pipelines across all domains, such as clinical, operational, financial, etc.
Transformation Analytics Ownership: Translate turnaround priorities into:
KPI frameworks, Driver-based models (volume, yield, cost), Initiative tracking (benefits realization), Build decision-grade dashboards
AI Strategy & Deployment (Transformation Lever): Own AI roadmap aligned to TMO priorities
Works with Analytics Leadership to identify and prioritize high-value use cases.
Support build vs buy decisions, stand up AI product lifecycle, ensure governance risk, and compliance.
Ensure AI is deployed as products/capabilities embedded in workflows, not tools
Transformation Execution & TMO Integration:
Embed analytics + AI into each TMO workstream
Partner with initiative owners to quantify opportunity, track impact, course-correct in real time, build benefits tracking system tied to finance, support operating cadence with TMO leadership.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a primary consultant to senior executives, translating complex technical findings into clear, strategic recommendations.
Driving Data Literacy: Champion the adoption of self-service BI tools across the organization to empower non-technical users.

Works closely with Analytics and Strategy leadership team, business teams and IT infrastructure teams to design, implement and support the goals and objectives of the organization set by the leadership
Proactively communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and delivery
Maintains compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conduct
Complies with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times

Job Requirements
(Education, Experience, Licensure and Certification)
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Science or Computer Science required.
Experience (required/preferred):
7–10+ years in data analytics or BI, with prior experience in a leadership role managing direct reports.
Experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or Advanced Data Engineering.
Knowledge of tools like Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Exceptional storytelling and communication skills to bridge technical and business domains.
Expert knowledge of data governance practices and data life cycle management highly desired.
Experience in Agile development methodology for analytics projects required.
Experience working directly with vendors, customers and other Technology teams.
