JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary
Leads and directs team responsible for Molina enterprise initiatives that drive and advance strategic, operational, and technology-enabled transformation across the organization. Partners with senior leadership to evaluate opportunities, assess viability, implement, and execute scalable solutions that advance the organization’s strategy and improve performance. Translates strategic intent into actionable roadmaps, oversees execution governance, and ensures delivery of measurable business outcomes. Responsible for project intake, evaluation, discovery, implementation and value realization for enterprise-wide initiatives.
Essential Job Duties
• Partners with executive leaders to identify, evaluate and scope strategic transformational opportunities (“art of the possible”) that align with Molina enterprise objectives.
• Oversees project intake, discovery and implementation processes for transformation initiatives.
• Evaluates existing business processes, technology and organizational design to identify opportunities for improved operational efficiency.
• Leads assessment and viability analysis of new initiative or solution to determine business readiness, impact and value.
• Monitors project performance, identifies risks, and escalates issues to leadership with recommended mitigation strategies.
• Translates strategic objectives into actionable transformation roadmaps with measurable success metrics.
• Applies structured change management and communication approaches to enable successful adoption of new ways of working.
• Creates communication strategies that clarify purpose, benefits, and progress of transformation initiatives.
• Serves as a change champion - fostering engagement, trust, and alignment throughout the organization.
• Ensures consistent application of project management standards, tools, and governance practices.
• Builds strong relationships across departments - promoting collaboration and shared accountability for enterprise outcomes.
• Serves as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on transformation readiness, execution capability, and enterprise change maturity.
• May provide training, mentoring and support to transformation team members.
Required Qualifications
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in transformation, strategy, enterprise project management or change management within a managed care or health care organization, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• At least 3 years of management/leadership experience.
• Advanced understanding of managed care operations, provider networks, and health care delivery systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset.
• Proven success operating in a matrixed environment, influencing cross-functional teams through large-scale change and implementation efforts.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in project and change management methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitation, and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
• Microsoft Office suite (including Excel and PowerPoint), and applicable software programs proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, and/or Agile certification.
• Managed care experience.
