You are an experienced senior executive who brings credibility, sound judgement and operational leadership to one of NSW’s most visible and high‑impact public service portfolios.
You have the opportunity to lead NSW’s E-Toll operations through complex reform—balancing compliance, customer outcomes and large scale operational excellence across a critical public service portfolio.
In this role, you'll
Join NSW Motorways that was created as a key recommendation of the 2024 Independent Toll Review. By prioritising the needs of motorists, NSW Motorways is dedicated to delivering a safer, fairer and more integrated transport system. It is also responsible for the oversight, management and strategic coordination of the NSW tolled motorway network.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead the end-to-end E-Toll retail business and State’s toll compliance activities, with full accountability for day-to-day operations including toll collection, compliance, customer support and toll debt recovery, ensuring safe, reliable and financially disciplined service delivery at scale.
Drive and embed significant operational reform while maintaining business continuity, modernising systems, processes and workforce capability in a complex, regulated and highly visible environment.
Run E-Toll as a competitive business within government—balancing commercial performance, revenue integrity and cost discipline with fairness, compliance and customer outcomes expected of a public sector service.
Lead investment planning, budgeting and financial forecasting in partnership with Finance to ensure strong financial governance and operational sustainability.
Lead and develop a large, predominantly frontline workforce, setting clear operational direction, lifting performance and capability, and embedding a strong culture of accountability, integrity and continuous improvement.
Partner closely with senior executives, central agencies, regulators and commercial stakeholders to manage risk, influence policy and deliver outcomes aligned to NSW Motorways and broader government priorities.
