THE ROLE

The Director of Ticket Sales & Service will execute strategic plansand outreachspanning new sales, season ticket renewals, premium offerings, groupand single gamesales, and fan retention acrossGeorgia TechFootball, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, and Baseballas well as select third-party eventshostedin athletics venues as needed.This role works closely withdepartmentleadership,external relations, ticket office,andAlexander-Tharpe Fundto drive sustainable revenue growth and deliver a best-in-class experience for Yellow Jacket fans.

This role serves as the day-to-day revenue leader for ticket sales and service operations, requiring proven success developing high-performing teams, driving strategic revenue initiatives, and executing integrated fan engagement strategies across Georgia Tech Athletics

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

  • Leadday-to-dayticket sales, retention, and serviceeffortsacross Football, Men'sand Women’sBasketball,Volleyball, Softballand Baseball.

  • Develop and execute the annual revenue plan, including new season ticket sales, renewals, premium sales, group sales, and single-game packages.

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales staff; apply formal salesmethodologyand behavior-based coaching.

  • Build andmaintaina rolling 30-60-90-day sales calendar; prioritize activity, quotas, and outreach cadences across the team.

  • Collaborate cross-functionallywith department leadership,ticket office, marketing, communications,and external partners to deliverrevenue growth anda unified fan experience.

  • Partnerwith the Director of CRM, Insights & Analytics,forlead scoring, segmentation, pipeline management, and reporting through Salesforce,Paciolan, and outreach automation tools.

  • Own the season ticket member retention and service experience; set renewal targets, design service touchpoints, and lead win-back strategy for at-risk accounts.

  • Partner with the Alexander-Tharpe Fund on integrateddonorand ticket strategies that strengthen both ticket revenue and athletics philanthropy.

  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and seasonal revenue reporting to Georgia TechAthletics and LegendsGlobal Salesleadership; lead executive presentations and strategic reviews.

  • Maintain a visiblegamedayand event-day presence athome sporting eventsand key fan-facing activations; willingness to work non-traditional hours, weekends, and gamedays.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience inoutboundticket sales rolespreferably within collegiate athletics,includingprevious oversight of sales staff

  • Proficient in CRM (Salesforce), ticketingsystems (Paciolan), and Microsoft 365 product suite (ExcelWord)

  • Goal-oriented leaderwith ability torecruit, train, and developteam memberswhileholdingaccountable toidentifiedsalesand revenuebenchmarks.

  • Data and analytics minded leader with strong understanding of industry best practices, trends, software, and third-party vendors to support revenue growth.

  • Demonstrated success influencing business strategy through insights and executive communication.

  • Working knowledge of annual fundraising and digital marketing strategiesand tactics

  • Motivated self-starter with exceptional organization, strategic thinking, and personal leadership

  • Bachelor’sdegreein Marketing, Business, Sales, Communications, or related field is a plus.
