The Global Talent Acquisition (TA) organization is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across all regions and job types including professional, manufacturing, executive, university, and contingent workforce programs.

The Americas & EMEA Talent Acquisition team plays a critical role in supporting Seagate’s global business strategy by delivering high-quality, scalable, and compliant hiring solutions across diverse markets.

About the role - you will:

As Director, Talent Acquisition – Americas & EMEA, you will lead the regional TA strategy and operations across a complex, multi-country footprint. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition, you will drive hiring outcomes that enable business growth, operational excellence, and workforce transformation.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute the Talent Acquisition strategy for the Americas & EMEA region aligned with global TA priorities and enterprise objectives
  • Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing team of TA leaders and recruiters across multiple countries
  • Partner with senior HR and business leaders to forecast workforce needs and build proactive talent pipelines
  • Serve as a key advisor on labor market trends, talent availability, and strategic workforce planning

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end recruiting delivery across professional, manufacturing, executive, and university hiring
  • Drive consistency, efficiency, and quality across recruiting processes, ensuring alignment with Seagate policies and governance
  • Leverage data and analytics to monitor performance (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, funnel health) and continuously improve outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with global and regional hiring regulations, including internal mobility, approvals, and requisition processes

Transformation & Innovation

  • Lead adoption of new TA technologies, tools, and AI-driven capabilities to enhance recruiting effectiveness
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement of TA processes in support of global HR transformation initiatives
  • Partner with HR Technology, Total Rewards, and HRBP teams to support job architecture, skills-based hiring, and workforce planning

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Align recruiting strategies to business priorities across diverse functions (engineering, manufacturing, corporate, etc.)
  • Represent Talent Acquisition in regional and global leadership forums

About you:

  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams in a complex, global environment
  • Strong executive communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels

Your experience includes:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, including global or multi-region leadership
  • Experience leading Talent Acquisition across Americas and/or EMEA markets
  • Demonstrated success scaling recruiting operations in complex, high-volume and specialized hiring environments
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders on workforce planning and talent strategy
  • Strong understanding of recruiting technologies, systems, and data analytics

You might also have:

  • Experience in technology, manufacturing, or global enterprise environments
  • Exposure to AI-driven talent solutions and skills-based hiring initiatives
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives within HR or Talent Acquisition
  • Familiarity with global compliance, immigration, and cross-border hiring practices

Location:

This position follows an onsite work structure, requiring a minimum of 3-4 days per week onsite. The role may be based in Longmont, Colorado or Bloomington, Minnesota.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $244,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
