$68.20 - $102.30

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the performance management, development, and maintenance of all metrics and financial statistics used to evaluate performance, cost savings, value, and overall effectiveness of Support Services across the organization.
  • Responsible for the architectural design, creation, installation, and maintenance of operational data stores and data warehouses.
  • Leads development of executive and frontline dashboards using data visualization tools such as Power BI and NEXUS.
  • Leads a team of data analysts to deliver customer-focused analytics capabilities, enabling operational leaders with reliable data and identifying opportunities for improvement in cost, safety, and service.
  • Partners with support service functions to establish and implement normalization criteria for benchmarking across acute and non-acute facilities.
  • Builds and leads a data governance committee for support services.
  • Selects, coaches, and develops teams; aligns objectives to organizational strategy; and manages performance, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Oversees human resources responsibilities including hiring, performance evaluations, compensation changes, corrective actions, and employee engagement.
  • Develops and manages operating and capital budgets, ensuring adherence to approved financial targets.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational Code of Ethical Conduct, policies, regulations, and applicable laws.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.

Education Required:

  • Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration or
  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 7 years of experience in project management, information systems, or leadership with applications, database management, and systems integration
  • Includes 3 years of management experience leading a data analytics team

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of project management best practices and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Proven success in team building and staff development
  • Ability to work with databases, metrics, dashboards, and normalization methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience with change management
  • Ability to translate organizational vision into measurable data and performance metrics
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Requires travel and exposure to varying weather and road conditions
  • Operates standard equipment necessary to perform job duties
  • Work is performed in a typical office environment

Preferred Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:

  • SAS Certified Data Scientist

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Power BI, SQL, Python
