Job Description:

Are you a hands-on Supply Chain leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities? Join Sibelco as Director Supply Chain and lead the development and performance of our Supply Chain and Logistics activities across the sub-region.

We are looking for an experienced Director Supply Chain to lead all Supply Chain matters across the sub-region, including the development and execution of logistics and Supply Chain strategies aligned with business needs. In this role, you will assess network requirements, identify and resolve transportation and warehousing gaps, optimize logistics flows, and drive initiatives that improve service, cost, and operational performance.

In the role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Acting as the focal point for Supply Chain across the sub-region, translating commercial and operational requirements into effective transportation, warehousing, and logistics solutions.
  • Leading and executing logistics optimization initiatives, including route and replenishment flow design, freight tendering, benchmarking, and secondary footprint optimization.
  • Managing the Supply Chain team, fostering accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement exploring options to grow.
  • Driving strategic projects across the sub-region, including customer-specific initiatives, sustainability projects, acquisitions, due diligence, and integration activities.
  • Ensuring Supply Chain activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), while continuously improving operational performance.

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Logistics, including significant leadership experience in complex, multi-channel and international environments with proven track performance.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in logistics network optimization, transportation, warehousing, replenishment flows, freight sourcing/tendering, and cost benchmarking.
  • A pragmatic and execution-oriented leadership style, with the ability to move from strategy to implementation, make decisions close to the operation, and personally drive solutions when required.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead multicultural teams and influence Commercial, Operations, and other senior stakeholders.
