The Role

We are seeking a Director of Strategic Program Management & Delivery who will oversee a strategic portfolio and lead the strategy and execution of large, complex initiatives. You will work closely with a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, fostering strong collaboration across Fidelity Technology to ensure timely delivery and successful outcomes. This position requires extensive coordination and partnership across the organization.

You are a servant leader who understands enterprise goals and priorities, communicates progress, risks, and key metrics to senior leadership, and leads by example. Through coaching, mentoring, and empowering others, you will help maximize value delivery and drive sustainable success across the organization.

This Role Will Be Responsible For:

Managing the assigned product and initiative portfolio, including roadmap planning, prioritization, and value realization tracking.

Leading large, complex programs and coordinating end-to-end workstream delivery.

Developing and driving execution strategies, with accountability for effective planning and alignment.

Establishing and maintaining program governance, managing risks, dependencies, and financials, and reporting progress to senior leadership.

Facilitating both strategic and tactical discussions with product and delivery teams to achieve shared objectives.

Performing data analysis and program reporting to inform insights and decisions.

Collaborating effectively across multiple levels of the organization to ensure alignment and execution.

Creating executive-level communications, clearly conveying complex concepts, status updates, and actionable recommendations.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

10+ years of experience in financial services, with 5+ years of experience in consulting, portfolio management, or program management in technology-driven organizations.

Strong understanding of program and portfolio management frameworks; consulting or enterprise strategy experience preferred.

Proven leadership running large, complex programs and cross‑functional initiatives in matrixed environments.

Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate and technical concepts into clear, business‑focused narratives.

Analytical, strategic thinker capable of connecting data, insights, and execution to drive measurable outcomes.

Skilled influencer and collaborator who builds alignment and consensus across engineering, product, and business teams.

Technically fluent, comfortable engaging with data scientists and engineers; familiarity with AI/ML concepts, analytics platforms, and cloud data ecosystems is a plus.

Proficient with enterprise planning, governance, and analytics tools (e.g., Jira, JiraAlign, Miro, Power BI).

Adaptable and effective in fast‑moving, evolving AI and data

You will be part of our Portfolio and Program team in Enterprise Data and AI that oversees data and AI portfolios and execution of large, complex cross BU strategic initiatives.
