Job Description

Build our future together:

At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. We are seeking a Director, Strategic Operations & Organizational Effectiveness to join our IOPS Project Management team, leading the enterprise operating system for strategy across our Industrial Operations and Product Supply organization. In this role, you will drive clarity, alignment, and cohesive execution — translating organizational priorities into actionable objectives and reinforcing them through planning, communication, and performance management — while partnering with senior leadership, HRBPs, and cross-functional teams to build the capabilities that power our long-term strategy. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.

When & where:

  • Location: Troy, New York, United Staes
  • Work model: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
  • Travel percentage: 10% to Ireland

Discover your role:

  • Lead annual and quarterly strategic planning and alignment processes; align senior leadership on long-term priorities and enterprise objectives; maintain strategy artifacts including goals, cascaded objectives, roles, decision rights, and ways of working
  • Establish and manage the enterprise operating rhythm — planning cycles, business reviews, and strategic forums — ensuring evidence-based decisions and consistent follow-through across the organization
  • Define enterprise KPIs and performance indicators; integrate resourcing and capacity into prioritization; maintain scorecards and synthesize performance trends and variance analysis into actionable leadership insights
  • Coordinate executive reviews and strategic forums; craft clear strategy narratives and communication materials that sustain organization-wide understanding of priorities and direction
  • Scan external trends and translate signals into strategic implications and internal actions; identify organizational capability gaps and partner with L&LD, Tech Training, and HRBPs to build skills aligned to strategy
  • Develop and maintain knowledge management frameworks, repositories, playbooks, and insight archives; leverage employee engagement and sentiment data to inform strategic alignment and change readiness efforts
  • Produce executive presentations, visual narratives, and alignment tools that communicate complex strategy clearly and compellingly to diverse audiences

This role requires:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Organizational Leadership, or a related field; Master's degree (MBA or Organizational Leadership) preferred
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in strategy, enterprise operating model design, or organizational effectiveness; level determined based on qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience designing and running enterprise planning and review rhythms, cross-functional alignment processes, and operating model frameworks
  • Proven ability to influence and facilitate across diverse senior leaders; exceptional executive communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards; strong data fluency with the ability to translate performance insights into strategic action
  • Background in organizational capability building and change management — shifting mindsets, skillsets, and behaviors at scale — preferred
  • Experience in a global, complex, matrixed organization required; manufacturing, operations, or life sciences industry experience a plus
