Director, Strategic Enterprise Sales - 1798

Location: Milpitas, CA
Employment Type: Direct hire – Full-time – w2 salaried

We are seeking an experienced sales executive to lead business development and revenue growth initiatives focused on enterprise infrastructure, cloud-scale environments, and next-generation storage technologies. This leadership role will be responsible for expanding customer relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and driving adoption of advanced hardware solutions across North America and Europe.

The successful candidate will have a strong background selling technology solutions into enterprise, OEM, cloud, and data center customers, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and develop long-term growth strategies. This individual will serve as a key contributor to commercial strategy while partnering closely with product, engineering, and executive leadership teams.

Primary Responsibilities

Revenue Generation & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth within enterprise and cloud infrastructure markets.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new customer opportunities while expanding existing account relationships.
  • Create and implement sales initiatives that increase market penetration and revenue performance.
  • Drive customer engagement throughout the sales lifecycle, from initial opportunity development through long-term account growth.
  • Establish and manage sales forecasts, pipeline development, and business performance metrics.

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across enterprise, OEM, cloud, and technology organizations.
  • Understand customer business objectives and align solution offerings to address evolving requirements.
  • Lead contract negotiations, commercial discussions, and partnership initiatives.
  • Develop account strategies that promote customer retention, expansion, and long-term value creation.


Industry & Competitive Analysis

  • Stay informed on technology trends, market developments, and competitive activity within the storage and semiconductor sectors.
  • Provide insights that support business planning, product positioning, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Evaluate emerging opportunities and recommend initiatives that strengthen market presence and competitive advantage.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, customer meetings, and strategic business discussions.


Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to support customer success and business objectives.
  • Provide customer and market feedback that influences future product direction and commercialization efforts.
  • Support strategic programs, executive initiatives, and high-priority customer engagements.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, business development, or strategic account management.
  • Demonstrated success selling infrastructure, storage, semiconductor, or related technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise computing environments, storage architectures, and data center technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful territory, account, and market growth strategies.
  • Established relationships within enterprise technology, cloud, OEM, or data center customer segments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and business planning capabilities with a track record of delivering measurable results.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical, operational, and executive organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.


Preferred

  • Experience working with large-scale cloud providers, enterprise technology companies, or global OEMs.
  • Background supporting strategic customer programs, design-in opportunities, or complex technology partnerships.
  • Experience managing business initiatives across multiple regions or international markets.
  • Knowledge of advanced storage technologies, memory solutions, or semiconductor products.
  • Master's degree or MBA.
