The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.

The Impact You Will Have in This Role

As Director, Salesforce Platform Engineering, you will lead the strategy, modernization, and growth of DTCC's Salesforce ecosystem, a key component of the firm's Digital Client Engagement Platform.

Salesforce powers critical client-facing experiences across onboarding, relationship management, service operations, and digital engagement. You will own the platform vision, roadmap, engineering delivery, and operational excellence across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, AgentForce, and Einstein AI.

This is a unique opportunity to lead one of DTCC's most strategic digital transformation initiatives, shaping the future of client engagement through AI-powered automation, intelligent workflows, and enterprise-scale platform innovation. You will influence enterprise technology strategy, drive measurable business outcomes, and build high-performing teams that deliver value across the organization.

Your Primary Responsibilities

Platform Strategy & Transformation

  • Define and execute the Salesforce platform vision, strategy, roadmap, and governance.
  • Drive platform modernization, scalability, standardization, and long-term technology evolution.
  • Lead enterprise-wide Salesforce and digital engagement transformation initiatives.

AI & Innovation

  • Drive adoption of AgentForce, Einstein AI, intelligent automation, and next-generation workflow orchestration capabilities.
  • Partner with enterprise AI teams to deliver responsible, scalable AI solutions that improve client experience and operational efficiency.

Architecture & Delivery

  • Lead integrations across Salesforce, MyDTCC, CIAM, APIs, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Establish modern engineering practices including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation.
  • Ensure predictable delivery, platform reliability, operational excellence, and effective risk management.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing global engineering teams.
  • Lead managers, senior engineers, and cross-functional leaders to build a scalable engineering organization.
  • Strengthen leadership bench strength and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Align talent, investments, and priorities to maximize business value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of software engineering and technology leadership experience.

Talent Needed for Success

  • Proven success leading Salesforce platform strategy, modernization, and enterprise-scale delivery.
  • Proven ability to drive enterprise transformation through technology modernization, AI adoption, and organizational leadership.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience owning platform strategy, technology roadmaps, investment planning, and execution.
  • Experience leading enterprise CRM, digital engagement, customer experience, or client-facing platform initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture and ecosystem.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, AgentForce, and customer engagement platforms.
  • Knowledge of Einstein AI, AI-enabled workflows, automation, and analytics capabilities.
  • Experience delivering AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, analytics, or workflow orchestration solutions.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware, CIAM, and data platforms.
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise-scale technology delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and develop high-performing engineering organizations.
  • Experience leading global teams and distributed delivery organizations.
  • Strong track record of influencing executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional programs.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer, Architect, CTA, or equivalent).
  • Experience with AgentForce, Einstein AI, Copado, or similar Salesforce technologies.
  • Financial Services, Capital Markets, FinTech, Banking, or other highly regulated industry experience.
  • Experience leading Salesforce Centers of Excellence (CoE) or enterprise platform governance functions.
  • Experience managing large-scale technology investments and strategic transformation programs.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
