We are looking for a Director Sales Operation to join our Sales Support team inBangaloreThe Director, Sales Operations will lead the strategy, governance, and execution of finance-to-sales data alignment and master data management across the revenue lifecycle. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity, consistent reporting, and seamless translation between financial and go-to-market systems, enabling accurate forecasting, performance visibility, and scalable growth.The ideal candidate combines strong analytical rigor, systems thinking, and cross-functional leadership, partnering closely with Finance, Sales, IT, and Data teams.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or IT.

  • 10+ Years of relevant experience in Revenue, Financial Analysis, or Sales Operations

  • Proven experience supporting Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success alignment 

  • Track record of driving revenue growth, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Own the end-to-end mapping between financial systems (ERP) and sales systems (CRM). This includes both short-term and long-term solutions.

  • Ensure consistent revenue, product, customer, and territory hierarchies across platforms 

  • Resolve discrepancies and drive single source of truth across GTM and Finance reporting

  • Create revenue reporting and analysis cadence

  • Define and operationalize MDM frameworks, standards, and governance models 

  • Establish ownership, stewardship, and workflows for key data domains, owning the Master Data Team 

  • Implement controls to ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness 

  • Lead data cleansing, normalization, and enrichment initiatives

  • Ad hoc analysis as required

Required Skills

  • Finance process knowledge (GL, AP, AR, budgeting, forecasting).

  • Experience with financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, etc.).

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and workflows for process improvement.

  • Strong project management skills (Agile, Waterfall, PMP certification preferred).

  • Experience of working in B2B revenue / sales organizational roles or related functions

  • Advanced Excel skills

About the Team:
Sales Operations and Enablementdeliverssupport & insights to focus sales on the highest value activities.  This team is a one-stop contact for the sales organization for anything related to sales processes, system,insightsand support to enable our sales organization to close sales opportunities and customer renewals. It offers the opportunity to work closely with the sales team and contribute to the company's revenue growth.

Hours of Work 

  • This is a full-time role requiring 40 working hours per week based out ofBangalore, India (IST).

  • Shift Timings- 12pm to 9pm IST, but should be flexible wheneverrequiredfor supporting AMERICAS and APAC regions

  • Work Mode-Hybrid as per Clarivate location
