Job Description

Join a Team Recognized for Leadership, Innovation and Diversity

As the Sales Director, OEM Americas, you will lead Honeywell’s Fire OEM business. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth through strategic partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), expanding market share across priority verticals, and developing long-term customer relationships that accelerate adoption of Honeywell Fire technologies, software, and services.

This role will own commercial strategy and execution for a portfolio of key OEM customers and partners, while leading a high-performing team focused on customer engagement, business development, pricing strategy, and market expansion. You will partner closely with Offering Management, Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience, Engineering, Finance & Collections to deliver sustainable growth and strengthen Honeywell’s position as the partner of choice in Fire and Life Safety solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership

  • Develop and execute the Americas OEM growth strategy aligned with Fire business objectives.
  • Deliver orders, revenue, margin, and cash flow commitments across the OEM channel.
  • Lead strategic account planning for key OEM partners across the region.
  • Drive market expansion initiatives in priority verticals including Data Centers, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Industrial, Healthcare, and other high-growth segments.
  • Identify and capture new OEM opportunities through business development and strategic partnerships.

Customer & Partner Management

  • Build executive and C-level relationships with key OEM customers and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing strategies, and long-term partnership contracts.
  • Champion customer experience initiatives that create differentiated value and strengthen loyalty.
  • Partner with customers to accelerate adoption of Honeywell’s fire systems, advanced detection technologies,

Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS), BDA, PA&VA and other fire solutions.

Strategic Growth

  • Drive white-label and customized solution opportunities with strategic OEM partners.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies that increase Honeywell’s share of wallet across existing and emerging customers.
  • Collaborate with Offering Management to identify competitive gaps, market requirements, and innovation opportunities.
  • Support new product introductions and commercialization activities within the OEM channel.

Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals and account leaders.
  • Build organizational capability, succession plans, and a strong talent pipeline.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with regional and global leaders to drive cross-functional alignment and execution.

Business Operations

  • Drive forecast accuracy, pipeline management, and operating rigor.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure disciplined execution of pricing, margin management, and growth initiatives.
  • Utilize data and analytics to improve commercial performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with regional OEM leaders worldwide to align strategies, share best practices, and drive business objectives.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience.
  • Experience managing strategic accounts within OEM, industrial, engineered solutions, or technology-based industries.
  • Demonstrated success leading large revenue portfolios and achieving growth objectives.
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies across multiple countries or regions.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the Americas.
  • Experience reading and reviewing legal contracts.
  • Successfully delivers results in demanding environments with changing priorities.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Experience within Fire & Life Safety, Building Automation, Security, Industrial Automation, HVAC, Electrical

Systems, or related industries.

  • Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams.
