In this role, you'll:
Join the Sydney Road Network Maintenance (SRNM) branch of the Road Maintenance and Resilience (RMR) division. Using your experience to minimise disruption whilst delivering works to better connect communities, SRNM manages Greater Sydney road operations and maintenance contracts, to ensure they remain safe, available, reliable and well maintained. Our branch also maintains the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a NSW icon.
Reporting to Executive Director, Sydney Road Network Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day network management functions, ensuring the safety, availability and amenity of the Greater Sydney Road Network (GSRN) with our contract and asset partners. This covers the management and maintenance of over $50bn of assets, comprising 7,500 lane kilometres of road network over a 12,500km2 area.
Supported by a team of contract and network management professionals, you will be required to drive a customer focused service for all network users through the Sydney Roads Asset Performance (SRAP), with an annual budget of over $380m. You will lead and build capability within the network management teams across Harbour, River, and Parklands Zones to achieve network, customer and contractual outcomes including safety, performance, sustainability, innovation and placemaking.
This is an exciting opportunity to bring your commercial and customer focus to promote a high level of strategic engagement with our contract and asset partners and provide advice and direction in relation to maintenance contracts to achieve alignment to TfNSW objectives.
This is a full-time ongoing (Perm) Opportunity Transport Senior Service Executive TSSE1B level role, based in Sydney, offering an attractive remuneration package.
