The Planning, Performance Management, and System Economics department at AOU is responsible for leading System Value Creation by ensuring the organization is prepared for the future. The team oversees end-to-end Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Resource Allocation, and System economics to drive sustainable value creation. By enabling rigorous planning, forecasting, and performance management processes, the department delivers actionable insights to support strategic decision-making, promotes operational excellence, and leads financial communication across the System.

  • Connect across all functions to enable a dynamic, forward-looking view of business needs and resource availability, supporting agile decision-making as priorities evolve.

  • Lead a robust resource governance model in close partnership with Senior Management, providing clear decision rights, transparency, and accountability on resource allocation choices.

  • Embed a strong financial and value-creation culture across the organization, educating teams on financial discipline, capital efficiency, and ROIC-driven decision-making.

  • Ensure full compliance with Africa OU requirements, aligning resource allocation processes with regional policies, standards, and governance frameworks.

  • Partner closely with the Finance Hub to ensure corporate systems and tools are fully deployed, adopted, and leveraged across Africa OU, maximizing their potential to support robust planning, resource allocation, and performance management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A, Strategy & Insights, or Performance Management.

  • Demonstrated ability to execute complex initiatives end-to-end, ensuring high-quality delivery, clear workflows, and timely outcomes.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to prepare clear, structured materials and work effectively as a team player across functions

  • Solid project management capabilities, with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and contributing directly to project execution.

  • Proven experience in data digitalization, automation, and performance reporting, with a strong focus on data quality and usability.

  • Good understanding of System economics, including financial interactions with bottlers and key partners.

What We'll Do for You:

  • Provide regular exposure to leadership teams within the Operating Unit and interaction with Corporate, supporting professional growth and business understanding.

  • Offer the opportunity to build a strong understanding of the business within an AOU covering 54 markets, a key driver of the company’s volume growth.

  • Enable a broad, cross-functional perspective, with hands-on interaction across business areas and collaboration with bottlers and System partners.

  • Strengthen your understanding of the financial impact of business decisions, through active involvement in planning, performance reviews, and projects.
