Skills and Competencies
  • 10+ years of experience selling into large asset managers or other complex solution-selling environments
  • Ability to sell using a needs and solutions-based approach and align offerings to client objectives
  • Proven ability to influence key decision makers throughout the full sales cycle
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills with outstanding client relationship management experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment with strong focus and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required
Responsibilities
Drive growth and deepen strategic client relationships within the asset management segment across the United States and Canada
  • Manage a portfolio of large strategic asset management clients and develop long-term relationships that support revenue growth and client retention
  • Identify, prospect, and originate new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships through cross-sell and up-sell initiatives
  • Conduct sales presentations, lead commercial discussions, and negotiate contracts with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of client investment priorities, decision-making processes, and business requirements across the Private Credit ecosystem
  • Collaborate with sales specialists, solution experts, and industry practitioners to deliver comprehensive client solutions
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline data, and sales activity updates for management reporting purposes
  • Meet established revenue targets while defending, retaining, and expanding existing revenue streams across products and services
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, client events, and company-sponsored programs while traveling up to 40%
About the Team
Our Sales team is responsible for building trusted relationships with clients and connecting them with solutions that help address complex business challenges. We partner with banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, asset managers, government organizations, corporations, and professional services firms to deliver data, analytics, research, and technology solutions. By joining our team, you will collaborate with highly motivated professionals who are passionate about innovation, client success, and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to create meaningful business outcomes.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $135,700.00 - $196,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
