This role requires an experienced and decisive senior PR practitioner who willberesponsible forleading, developing and executing comprehensive and strategic public relations and communication plansfor the Dunkin’ brandsacross the US (national and local) This positionis responsible fororchestrating a robust earned media strategy that align with the brand’s businessobjectivesas well as magnifies the brand image and reputationas part of the rapidlyevolvingQSR space.

A key element of the role is providing ongoing strategic counsel to advance brand goals throughPR, andproviding informed decisions for the brand by integrating PR data,insightsand trends. Proactively providing actionable recommendations to senior executives, including the President, CMO, VPs, etc., ensuring PR strategies seamlessly integrate with broader businessobjectives,and promote cross-functional collaboration. As aDirector, the position will manage2reports a manager of PRandan associate manager of PR. The position is also responsible for managing3 national PR agencies, 12 local PR agencies, as well as managingPRbudgets

The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, has strong writing skills and ability to capture the brand voice, has had direct experience supporting executivemarketingleadership, and canprovidestrategic communications guidance to cross-functional teams.

This position is based inCanton, MA (Dunkin’BRSupport Center)with frequent visits toAtlanta, GA(InspireGlobal Support Center),and will report directly totheVP of Brand PR, with a dotted line to theDunkin’CMO

Salary: $ 121,100-$266,420
The salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual placement within this range will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, and location

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the formulation of agile PR content that capitalizes on evolving pop culture trends, while assessing the longevity of each trend to ensure resources areallocatedefficiently
  • Spearhead the artful crafting of in-depth brand narratives,leveragingfeature stories to deepen brand resonance and engagement
  • Pioneer a revamp of local earned media strategy, ensuring a steady cadence of activations and news engine
  • Lead, guide, develop three direct reports, ensuring effective collaboration,developmentand achievement of critical businessobjectives
  • Enhance PR measurement strategies and methodologies to capture insightful and actionable data
  • Oversee implementation of new product placement agency for film/TV strategy to continued brand amplification
  • Partner with VP, Brand PR to manage award and brand recognition process
  • Define the overarching strategy for celebrity engagement and partnerships, ensuring they are seamlessly woven into marketing campaigns,eventsand product launches for maximum impact. Work with legal teams to draft agreements that protect the brand
  • Oversee content strategy and amplification efforts fortheDunkin’ newsroom
  • Oversee substantial PR budget, ensuring effective allocation and consistentlydemonstratingreturn on investment to senior executives
  • Build andmaintainhigh-level relationships with crucial stakeholders
  • Collaborate with and meet regularly with key departmental leaders to integrate PR strategies into broader business plans

EDUACATION QUALIFICATION

Minimum: 4+ yr degree

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

Minimum: 15+ yrs Preferredexternalcommunicationsand/orbrand PR,experience in a corporate or agency environment.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE,SKILLSor ABILITIES

  • Several years of experience working with C-level leaders in different settings as a counselor, offering guidance on decisions thatimpactcommunications strategy
  • Skilled and versatile writer in various formats, includingpress releases, media pitches,creative PPT decks, talking points, presentations, communications plans, and newsletters
  • Comfortable balancingmultiple projects andstrategicand tacticalworkon a daily basis, includingbrand campaigns, outreach strategies, and agency management
  • Ability to work effectively and be proactive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proventrack recordas a strong cross-functional partner, able to effectively work with various teams across the brand to develop effectiveexternalcommunications
  • Proficiencyusing MS Officesuiteincluding Outlook, Word,Exceland PowerPoint.
  • Responsive to andanticipatesthe needofleadership andbrandteam members
  • Ability to conduct themself in a professional,respectfulandappropriate mannerat all timeswith the highest integrity.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

30% (Atlantavisits toInspireSupport Centeras well as domestic travel for PR initiatives)
