Job Scope

The PMO Director is responsible for managing the program and project management framework across the US Immuno organization. This role ensures the successful planning, execution, and tracking of key projects within the assigned portfolio. The PMO Director supports the organization in identifying and defining which projects to develop, managing business cases, and conducting the necessary analyses for project approval.

Key responsibilities include building strong relationships across line functions (Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Commercial Projects, Product Development) and leading cross-functional teams to create comprehensive development plans. The PMO Director oversees timelines, dashboards, budget inputs, risk management, and ensures standard methodologies are applied across all projects.

Moreover, the role ensures proactive oversight of all projects, coordinating Program and Project Managers, tracking progress, and ensuring benefit realization from the assigned portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives, programs, and projects aimed at driving business outcomes by building and optimizing the PMO structure.
• Support change management across the organization through projects and initiatives that foster innovation and new ways to achieve business targets.
• Apply strong program management methodologies to ensure effective delivery of cross-functional projects critical to company success.
• Partner with functional leaders to define, implement, monitor, and maintain organization-wide projects, managing project scope, schedules, resources, and costs, and ensuring project plans are accurate and aligned with program constraints.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between Project Managers, Program Managers, and sponsors, ensuring consistency across global teams and reflecting differences in cultures and backgrounds.
• Drive cross-functional programs that contribute to the company's product portfolio and business growth.
• Organize and lead prioritization meetings with senior leadership, identifying issues, resource constraints, and facilitating critical decision-making.
• Monitor and manage portfolio risks, conflicts, and interdependencies, developing mitigation strategies and escalating unresolved issues when necessary.
• Produce regular status reporting for the portfolio, including Key Process Indicators (KPIs) on performance, schedule, deliverables, and budget.
• Act as the point of contact for program managers and sponsors, supporting business case definition and coordinating with other departments to ensure alignment and project success.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope, while maintaining compliance with the Code of Ethics, Quality Management System, and company policies.
• Facilitate communication among different sites and corporate functions, ensuring alignment between local and corporate stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, influencing key project stakeholders to support critical initiatives.
• Oversee the performance of Program Managers, assisting with problem resolution and ensuring timely decision-making.
• Drive the definition of project scope, goals, deliverables, and measure outcomes for both technical and business process functions.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science engineering or business discipline required
• >10 years project / program management background managing business, Lean and technical projects, preferably within the medical operations industry or other regulated business
• Demonstrated ability to drive strategic change.
• Strong structured Lean or Sig Sigma experience, preferably having earned certifications
• Experience working in a multi-national organization is preferred
• High aptitude to work in a cross-functional matrix management organization
• Ability to facilitate meetings and create structured approaches to ambiguous challenges.
• Proven ability to build culture and exert influence across functions, drive collaboration and lead change
• Knowledge of and ability to follow ISO 9001 and 13485 and 21 CFR 820 guidelines and practices
• Familiarity with Design Control and Project Management principles is desirable.
• Ability to maintain accurate records with initiative and attention to detail
• Mature oral and written communication skills, ability to report-out to Executive leadership
• Robust analytical experience for diverse challenges
• Certification: PMP and/or MBA preferred. Lean or Six Sigma certification are a plus

Travel: 20% travel. Be prepared to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support business requirements.

The hiring range for this position is $194,000-$220,000 annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
