Job Description

Join ABC Fitness and become part of a culture that’s as ambitious as it is authentic. Let’s transform the future of fitness—together!

Our Values

Best Life

We believe great work begins with great people. That’s why our culture is built on respect, trust, and belonging. We create an inclusive environment where every team member can bring their authentic self to work—because diverse perspectives drive innovation and meaningful impact.

Growth Mindset

We are doers, thinkers, and dreamers. At ABC Fitness, your growth is our investment. Through continuous learning, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, we empower you to reach new heights—personally and professionally.

One Team

From day one, you’ll be part of a team that collaborates, celebrates, and cares. We move fast, support one another, and have fun along the way. Because when you thrive, we all thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Partnership to the CPO
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CPO on organizational priorities, portfolio trade-offs, and long-range planning.
  • Prepare the CPO (and, on shared initiatives, the CTO) for Executive Committee meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Conduct research, synthesize signals (VoC, Jira, Slack, stakeholder input), and develop executive-ready materials and recommendations, not just summaries.
  1. Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management
  • Provide the standardized planning framework (problem statements, business outcomes, metrics, success criteria) that Product VPs and PMs use to translate company and product strategy into their product plans.
  • Facilitate quarterly and annual planning with the CPO and Product VPs, ensuring initiatives put forward by product teams are stress-tested against capacity, dependencies, and measurable impact.
  • Maintain a portfolio view across product lines by aggregating what Product VPs and PMs are planning; surface trade-offs and recommend sequencing that maximizes customer and business value.
  1. Product Operating Rhythm
  • In collaboration with the Director of Engineering Operations, run the operating cadence: roadmap reviews, delivery check-ins, risk/decision forums, and retrospective loops.
  • Create status and change-control mechanisms (what moved, why, impact) that improve predictability without adding friction.
  1. AI Transformation
  • Partner with the Engineering Head of AI Transformation to define and drive adoption of AI-native ways of working across the product and design org.
  • Partner with the CTO's organization on internal AI tooling decisions that affect Product; represent Product's ways-of-working needs in platform decisions.
  • Track and report adoption and impact of AI-driven ways of working to the CPO, CTO, and Executive team.
  • Build and maintain reusable AI enablement assets: prompt libraries, decision frameworks, rubrics, and Cowork/Claude skills that standardize how PMs use AI for planning, synthesis, and communication.
  • Identify and lead automation of manual product work: VoC synthesis, status reporting, product artifacts and documentation, and using AI tooling, and retire the manual version once adopted.
  • Manage and optimize the tooling ecosystem (road mapping, analytics, feedback/VoC, experimentation) so usage, adoption, and outcomes are reliably measured, increasingly using AI to improve signal quality and reduce manual upkeep.
  • Set standards and guardrails for responsible AI use in product workflows (data handling, review expectations, where human judgment stays in the loop).
  1. Team Leadership
  • Directly manage and develop a team of Product PMO / product launch resources responsible for executing the product operating model day to day and coordinating successful product and capability releases.
  • Set goals, provide coaching, and own performance management and career development for the team.
  • Lead capacity planning for the PMO team itself, ensuring coverage across product lines as the portfolio and AI-enablement remit scale.
  • Model and reinforce the operating standards and AI-native ways of working the team is responsible for driving across Product.
  1. Operational Readiness & Market Delivery
  • In coordination with the Product Launch Manager/s, set and maintain the operational readiness framework for major releases (enablement, documentation, support readiness, rollout and risk plans) that Product and GTM teams use to prepare their launches.
  • Coordinate with Product Marketing and GTM on launch plans (timing, packaging, success metrics); facilitate post-launch reviews focused on customer and business impact.
  • Institutionalize continuous improvement: what we learned, what changes next cycle.
  1. Organizational Effectiveness
  • Help design and improve the structure, processes, and governance of the Product organization.
  • Help set and reinforce operating norms and standards for the Product and design team, in partnership with Product leadership.
  • Reinforce a culture of accountability, clarity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  1. Resource & Financial Planning
  • Partner with Finance on product-line revenue targets and maintain shared visibility into Product P&Ls in partnership with each Product Lead, who owns their line's financial performance; track plan-vs-actual performance and flag variances and re-investment opportunities for Product Leads and Finance to act on.
  • Partner with Finance/People and Product Leadership on headcount planning aligned to the portfolio roadmap and value goals.

Outcomes & Success Metrics

Customer Value

  • Closed-loop responsiveness on VoC (feedback → decision → action).
  • Time-to-First-Value (TTFV) and time-to-outcome.

Business Value

  • Improved predictability (planned vs. actual delivery); faster cycle time/lead time.
  • Reduced costs on consolidated tooling; measurable time savings from AI-driven ways of working.
  • Roadmap linkage to evidence (percent of initiatives tied to quantified customer/business cases).

Qualifications

Required

  • 15+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, strategy/business operations, or a Chief of Staff-type role, with meaningful exposure to SaaS or technology organizations.
  • Experience supporting senior executives and driving executive-level planning and reporting.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect product strategy to company objectives and customer outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Prior experience managing and developing a team, ideally Program/PMO or product operations resources.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills; able to turn complex, ambiguous information into clear recommendations.
  • Fluency with product tooling (e.g., Jira, analytics/experimentation platforms) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Hands-on fluency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflows) and a track record of driving AI adoption within a business function.
  • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management; able to align Product, Engineering, operations, and GTM teams quickly around outcomes.
  • High degree of discretion, judgment, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred

  • Experience in high-growth B2B SaaS, vertical SaaS, or fitness/wellness technology.
  • Prior experience in management consulting, strategy and operations, or a senior program leadership role.
  • Experience designing AI enablement assets for a team: prompt libraries, playbooks, or internal skills/tools.
  • Familiarity with VoC platforms, experimentation platforms, and product analytics.
