The Director of Product Operations architects and runs the operating system that enables Q2’s product strategy. This role transforms Product Operations from a support function into enterprise infrastructure. Reporting to the VP of ProductMarketing & ProductOperations,you’llbe at the center of strategy, execution, and organizational excellence. This is a high-impact role for a provenproductoperations leader who thrives in complex environments, caninfluenceatthe executive level, and brings clarity to scale.

This leader ensures predictable product delivery through disciplined lifecycle governance, executive-level portfolio transparency across priority initiatives, AI-enabled operational efficiency embedded into core workflows, and a clear linkage between roadmap execution, launch readiness, and revenue realization.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAD

Enterprise Lifecycle Governance -Own and institutionalize the stage-gate framework across the full product lifecycle, from ideation through generalavailability

  • Define decision rights, funding ownership, and accountability across lifecycle gatesand lines-of-business

  • Standardize launch readiness checkpoints and cross-functional orchestration

  • Embed lifecycle checkpoints into annual planning and funding cadence

  • Align Product, Engineering, and GTM teams on shared KPIs

Portfolio Visibility and Executive Operating Rhythm -Run the business of Product with executive clarity.

  • Build andmaintainenterprise portfolio dashboard with real-time readiness visibility

  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers on operations quarterly business review cadence, portfolio reviews, and executive-leadership ready reporting

  • Establish health metrics across roadmap, capacity, risk, and launch readiness

  • Provide executive advisory support to Product VP and SVP leaders

  • AutomateAI-enabledreadiness tracking and documentation workflows

  • Implement roadmap reporting and portfolio reviewstoreduceproduct managementadministrative burden

Organizational Design and Workforce Strategy-Design theproduct operationsstructure that enables scale.

  • Own Product Operationsorg model and headcount alignment tolines-of-business

  • Clarify role boundaries across Product Ops, Engineering Ops, and Revenue Opsorganizations

  • Partner with Finance on forecasting, budget discipline, and cost optimization

Strategic Program Orchestration-Ensure enterpriseproductinitiativesoperatewith disciplined execution.

  • Assign dedicated program ownershipacross major lines-of-business and strategic priorities

  • Link roadmap milestones togo-to-marketreadiness and revenue impact

  • Track risk and readiness across strategic programs

  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment at scale

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define and execute product strategy for business banking solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product initiatives
• Partner with engineering and scrum teams in an Agile environment
• Translate business requirements into technical needs
• Ensure adherence to security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy standards
• Drive rapid product enhancements and new feature development
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
• 12+ years of experience; advanced degree with 8+ years acceptable
• 5-7 years managing and developing employees
• Strong background in product management, financial services, or e-commerce
• Proficiency with Agile development, programming, database, and analytics tools
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
