Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Product Manager based out of our New York office.
Product Manager, Private Credit Data Products
We are seeking a Product Manager to own the planning, development, and delivery of data products for the Private Credit markets. This role is accountable for translating customer and stakeholder needs into a prioritized roadmap, clear requirements, and an execution plan that delivers measurable outcomes. You will partner closely with Business Strategy, Engineering, Data, Design, Sales, and Customer teams to define problems, validate solutions, and ship high-quality datasets and workflows. You will iterate based on usage data, client feedback, and operational performance (e.g., quality, timeliness, reliability). While the primary focus is on data products and data management, this role may also own or contribute to associated website or platform capabilities that support product delivery.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on product management experience, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of Private Credit market workflows. Success in this role requires end-to-end ownership: leading discovery, writing and socializing clear product requirements (e.g., PRDs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria), prioritizing trade-offs, aligning stakeholders, and driving delivery with cross-functional teams. You will define and monitor product KPIs (adoption, retention, revenue impact, data quality and timeliness, client satisfaction) and use them to guide iteration, release planning, and continuous improvement.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Roadmap & Prioritization
Own the product direction for Private Credit data products. Define OKRs/KPIs, prioritize a roadmap that balances client value, revenue impact, data quality, and technical feasibility, and maintain a transparent release plan. Drive prioritization decisions with clear rationale and documented trade-offs.
Customer & Domain Discovery
Bring deep knowledge of Private Credit markets (direct lenders, CLO managers, credit funds, institutional investors) and how their workflows translate into product requirements. Conduct ongoing customer discovery (interviews, workflow walk-throughs, feedback sessions) and partner with Sales and Customer Success to validate needs and confirm value before and after release.
Data Product Development
Lead the full lifecycle of data products from conception through launch and continuous improvement. Gather and group requirements into initiatives and epics, sequence and prioritize them, and prepare them for engineering breakdown. Maintain focus on data quality, usability, governance, and scalability throughout.
Business-to-Technical Translation & Delivery
Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating needs into PRDs, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Lead agile delivery including backlog management, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives. Manage capacity, dependencies, and delivery risk in partnership with Engineering and Data leadership.
Go-to-Market & Performance
Support product launches, sales enablement, and positioning. Track adoption, retention, revenue impact, data quality, and client satisfaction metrics to guide iteration and continuous improvement.
