Job Title: Director, Product Management – GPU Platform

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $190,000 - $225,000 + Bonus Eligible

Who we are: Lynx delivers modular, open standards-based software solutions that redefine the economics of developing, deploying, and maintaining high assurance, mission critical edge platforms. These secure edge computing solutions are designed to drive innovation and operational excellence in today’s most demanding environments. From advancing aerospace and defense capabilities to transforming commercial and industrial systems, Lynx collaborates across a wide range of industries, including automotive, medical, and critical infrastructure, to deliver tailored, high assurance solutions aligned with specific mission and operational requirements. Our key products and services are:

  • LYNX MOSA.ic: A software platform that can include a LYNX safety-critical real-time operating system. MOSA.ic's modular design provides robust support for multicore processing. It allows different operating systems and applications of different criticality levels to be run on separate cores for improved performance, reliability, and security.
  • CoreSuite 2.0: A suite of graphics libraries and tools that enable GPU hardware acceleration for both graphics and "GPU Compute", supporting applications such as machine learning and AI processing in edge devices.
  • MOSA.ic.SCA and Vigiles, tools that provide Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and Common Vulnerabilities Exposure (CVE) management for embedded Linux-based and other applications.
  • Software development services for high-reliability applications that can include initial setup of a "DevSecOps" development environment, software application development, and long-term product lifecycle management.

We are seeking a Director, Product Manager – GPU Platform to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our GPU-enabled product platform, spanning CoreSuite and its deployment within MOSA.ic AI. This role sits at the intersection of product, architecture, and customer engagement, and is critical to defining how Lynx delivers high-performance, safety-critical compute solutions to market.

You will own product direction end-to-end—from market insight and strategy through execution and customer adoption—while working closely with engineering, architecture, sales, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for GPU-enabled capabilities across CoreSuite and MOSA.ic AI
  • Translate market needs, customer requirements, and competitive landscape into clear product strategy and priorities
  • Drive alignment between product, architecture, and go-to-market teams
  • Own the ecosystem strategy, including developer tools, enablement, and partner integrations required to successfully deploy and adopt GPU capabilities across CoreSuite and MOSA.ic AI

Execution & Delivery

  • Define use cases, requirements, and success criteria for product initiatives
  • Prioritize roadmap based on business impact, technical feasibility, and customer demand
  • Ensure clear, actionable direction for engineering teams and drive execution to delivery

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Engage directly with customers and partners to understand use cases, pain points, and deployment challenges
  • Support key pursuits, demos, and escalations, acting as a product authority in GPU and high-performance compute domains
  • Validate product direction through customer feedback and market signals
  • Ensure the product ecosystem (tools, workflows, documentation, and integrations) enables customers to successfully evaluate, adopt, and deploy solutions

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with engineering and architecture to shape product capabilities and trade-offs
  • Work with sales and marketing to define positioning, messaging, and enablement materials
  • Align with Professional Services to ensure deployability and customer success

Product & Technical Leadership

  • Bridge deep technical understanding (GPU, scheduling, real-time systems) with business and product strategy
  • Drive architectural alignment across CoreSuite and MOSA.ic AI platforms
  • Ensure product decisions reflect both technical integrity and market value

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years in product management, systems architecture, or a related technical leadership role
  • Strong background in embedded systems, real-time operating systems, GPU/accelerated computing, or similar domains
  • Proven experience driving product strategy and roadmap for complex, technical products
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and customers
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product direction

Preferred

  • Experience in safety-critical or regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, defense)
  • Familiarity with GPU scheduling, virtualization, or high-performance compute architectures
  • Experience with platform products and ecosystem/partner integrations

What Success Looks Like

  • Clear, prioritized roadmap aligned with market and business needs
  • Strong alignment across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams
  • Improved customer adoption and successful deployment of GPU-enabled capabilities
  • Reduced ambiguity in product direction and faster execution cycles
  • Scalable product leadership that enables teams, not just individual contribution

Key Attributes

  • Strong product ownership and decision-making
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and deep technical levels
  • Customer-first mindset with strong business awareness
  • Clear, concise communicator who drives alignment and action
  • Ability to scale impact through others (not just individual contribution)
