Role Purpose & Strategic Context

Business & Product Context

Capability Area
What We're Looking For
Transformation & Platform Modernization
Proven experience driving complex platform transformation while sustaining legacy products (“run and transform”). Ability to build a single global product approach with localization (taxes, currency, time zones, language) without losing core platform coherence. Strong end-to-end product delivery leadership in complex, multi-geo environments with evolving constraints.
Workflow & Integration Leadership
Strong integration leadership with partners through platforms and APIs; comfortable in workflow-heavy product environments. Conceptual understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and architecture trade-offs to partner effectively with Engineering and Data leaders.
Senior Product Leadership
Classic PM progression into leadership with increasing scope and complexity. Exceptional at defining what should be built and why; does not need to be the solution architect defining how. Comfortable leading a small, distributed team with limited coverage; provides direction, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment through ambiguity.
Product Management Discipline
Strong command of PM fundamentals at both strategic and tactical levels. Educates and drives alignment on priorities. Masters business case construction, roadmap planning, Agile/EPIC-level execution, and data-driven product decisions.
AI Experimentation & Mindset
Evidence of experimentation with AI tools across multiple use cases: automation, productivity, writing, research, analytics, coding, and prototyping (“vibe coding”). Breadth of experimentation matters; no single tool required. Uses AI to move faster and better — not just to keep up.
High Agency & Resourcefulness
Self-starting, proactive, finds a way forward. Hands-on mentality when needed; willing to roll up sleeves in lean teams and transitions. Growth mindset: treats ambiguity and constraint as problems to solve, not blockers.
Industry Learning Agility
Salvage industry experience is a plus but not mandatory. Strong product leaders with high learning agility and genuine curiosity about domain specifics are equally considered. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of mastering new verticals quickly.
