
The Role:
The Director, Process Strategy & Enablement plays a pivotal role in driving high-impact cross-functional process improvements across Asset Management. In this role, the Director will succeed by cultivating a deep understanding of user needs, providing thematic and strategic insights, developing actionable solutions, and providing organizational change support. Ideal candidates thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable leading teams or contributing individually based on project needs.
Cross-Functional User Research & Insight Development
Develop connections with business partners to understand their needs
Conduct stakeholder interviews and synthesize findings into actionable insights
Distill complex information into executive-level updates
Solution Design & Prototyping
Encourage creative thinking and challenge assumptions
Develop mock-ups, process maps, and prototypes
Iterate solutions based on user feedback
Prepare and present recommendations for executives and end users
Organizational Change & Implementation
Design and socialize implementation plans to build consensus
Provide guidance and support through the change process
Refine solutions based on real time user feedback
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead or contribute to cross-functional teams
Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment
The Expertise and Skills you Bring:
Demonstrated experience in financial services (10+ years)
BS degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
Strong emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Curiosity and ability to ask probing questions
Rapidly builds understanding of complex topics
Proficiency in synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data into actionable themes
Strong executive presence
Proven ability to lead meetings and manage sensitive topics constructively

The Team:
The Process Strategy & Enablement team is part of the Business Management & Strategy (BMS) team. BMS provides operational and strategic support across Compliance, Risk & Business Operations (CRBO) functions, and the broader Asset Management (AM) organization in the areas of:
Business Management, including the aggregation and collection of Objectives & Key Performance Indicators (OKPIs)
Project & program management support for key AM & CRBO Strategic Initiatives
Real estate planning for all of Asset Management, including the close coordination with the Fidelity Real Estate Company (FREC) and the Future of Work (FoW) team
Technology product support for the CRBO technology portfolio
Cross-functional process improvements and change management support
The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$222,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
