Director Private Banking – Wezembeek-Oppem

A day in the life of a Director Private Banking

You lead and grow the Private Banking activity in Wezembeek-Oppem, taking full ownership of the commercial performance and development of your market.

You inspire, coach and challenge a team of Private Bankers, helping them achieve ambitious targets while strengthening their client portfolios. You actively transmit your commercial mindset and ensure a strong focus on acquisition, growth and long-term client relationships.

You play a key role in expanding the Private Banking franchise by leveraging your local network and identifying new business opportunities, particularly within the entrepreneurial client segment.

You position ING Private Banking as a trusted partner in your region, acting as a strong ambassador both internally and externally. You actively build synergies with Business Banking, Personal Banking and other segments to accelerate growth.

As a true role model, you manage and develop your own client portfolio, contributing directly to results while staying close to the business.

• You have solid experience in Private Banking and a strong expertise in wealth management
• You are strongly driven by achieving commercial targets and growing client portfolios
• You have experience in people management, or a clear ambition and capability to lead and develop a team
• You combine a strong local network with the ability to create new business opportunities
• You are an inspiring leader who knows how to transfer energy, ownership and commercial drive to your team
• You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• You demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in a fast-changing environment
• You are fluent in Dutch and French, with a good command of English

The team

You will be part of a strong Private Banking organisation in Belgium, managing the assets of 30,000 families. The team combines experienced Private Bankers, Portfolio Managers and Wealth specialists, working closely together to deliver high-quality advice and long-term client satisfaction.
