The Director, Portfolio Project Management& Process Excellenceis a strategic leadership role within Global Distribution & Customer LogisticsExcellence team), responsible for overseeing a portfolio of complex,cross‑functionalinitiatives that enable supply continuity, operational excellence, and business growth. This role drives disciplined portfolio governance, prioritization, and execution across manufacturing, planning,logistics, and external partners. Key Responsibilities
Lead and govern a portfolio of GDCLprojects, ensuring alignment with business strategy, financial targets, and operational priorities.
Establish andmaintainportfolio management standards, cadence, and reporting, including prioritization, resource allocation, risk management, and performance metrics.
Partner withcross‑functionalleaders (Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Quality, R&D, and Commercial) to driveon‑time,on‑budgetexecution of strategic initiatives.
Identifyinterdependencies, risks, andtrade‑offsacross initiatives and proactively recommend mitigation and optimization strategies.
Provideexecutive‑levelcommunication, including portfolio dashboards, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Lead, coach, and develop project managers and portfolio resources, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Drive adoption of project and portfolio management best practices, tools, and methodologies across GDCL
Ensure projects comply with applicable quality, regulatory, and governance requirements within a regulated medical device environment.
Qualifications
Education
Required:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, ora relatedfield.
Preferred:Master’s degree (MBA or MS) in a related discipline.
Experience and Skills
Required:
8–10 years of progressive experience in project, program, or portfolio management within supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or a relatedenvironment.
Demonstrated experience leading complex,cross‑functionalportfolios with significant business impact.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including influencing at the senior leadership level.
Proven ability toestablishgovernance, prioritize initiatives, and manage resources across competing demands.
Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences).
Strong analytical, financial, andproblem‑solvingcapabilities.
Preferred:
Experience in global ormulti‑sitesupply chain operations.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Advancedproficiencywith project/portfolio management tools and enterprise systems.
Priorpeople‑managementor matrix leadership experience.
Other:
Language:English (additionallanguages a plus).
Travel:Up to 15–25%, primarily domestic, with occasional international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€95,900.00 - €165,370.00
