General Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education (UME), the Phase 1 Director (Pre-Clerkship Curriculum) – Medical School Campus functions within the Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine at WellSpan Health. The Phase 1 Director assists the campus Associate Dean, and the Assistant Dean for UME by directing and implementing the medical school curriculum and scholarly activity for campus students and faculty, including Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME) accreditation activities and requirements, student and faculty surveys, and ensuring that the Phase 1 academic curriculum is up-to-date, and effective. This is a WellSpan Health role primarily functioning to support the Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine at WellSpan Health campus and students.
