Responsibilities

Holds 24-hour accountability for the operation of hospital phantasy.

Provides appropriate s1affing levels and skill mix to support departmental functions.

Perfom1s personnel functions for the depanmen1. i.e. recruitment, hang. disciplinary actions, evaluations. counseling and education and follows university and hospital policy related to personnel functions.

Suppose all personnel as valuable assets to the ins11tut1on.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, coaches and mentor staff.

Assures personnel are competent to carry out their essential functions and than competency skills are completed annually.

Monitors work prefinances of staff

Completes staff evaluations in a tm1ely manner accord mg 10 policy

Stann as professional role model for all staff

Develops an annual budget that meets the department needs w1th1n the frameworks of available resources

Evaluates and recommends space allocation and design for the meets to the dependent.

Develops. 1mplemcnts and updates policies and procedures 111 a collaborative and interdepartmental process according to Joint Comm1ss1on. USP .,

and hospital standard performance of the departments.

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
