Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Lead the team tasked with delivery of the central analytics service.
- Implement the portfolio data and insight approach.
- Coordinate Group-wide reporting and dashboards.
- Support assessment of strategic performance.
Business
- Oversee production of portfolio reporting and insight.
- Respond to senior management reporting requirements.
- Partner with portfolio stakeholders to improve data quality and insight.
- Support enhancement of reporting platforms and tools.
Risk Management
- Promote adherence to Group Security, Risk and Audit policies.
- Maintain awareness of material reporting, data and governance risks.
- Escalate significant risks and control weaknesses.
- Coordinate identification and monitoring of performance-reporting risks.
- Support implementation of controls and mitigation actions.
- Monitor material data and reporting issues.
- Escalate significant weaknesses or exceptions.
- Support remediation with relevant stakeholders.
People and Talent
- Champion and act as a role model of the Group’s values and culture. Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set the appropriate tone and expectations for the team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
- Lead and support a change in mindset, building a culture of client centricity, agility and accountability through standardised metrics and measurement, ensuring everyone in the Bank is a driver and owner of client outcomes.
- Set effective metrics and standards, communicate them transparently to team members, provide feedback and reward employees accordingly. Set the appropriate tone and expectations for the wider team.
- Employ, engage and retain high-quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.
- Ensure team structure and capacity are reviewed to enable delivery of client outcomes.
- Ensure ongoing training and development; ensure direct reports are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles and have effective supervision in place to mitigate risk.
- Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports, and provide feedback and rewards in line with performance against those responsibilities and objectives.
- Create a motivational and challenging environment for staff that is conducive to creativity and performance, with customer centricity in mind.
Governance and Regulatory Conduct
- Support Quarterly Reviews and portfolio review forums.
- Prepare performance materials for governance forums.
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for maintaining the highest standards of ethics and conduct.
- Contribute to the outcomes in the Bank’s Conduct Principles.
- Identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualifications
- Strong understanding of change delivery, portfolio reporting and financial management.

- Experience across Waterfall and Agile delivery.
- Strong analytical, communication and prioritisation skills.
- Strong experience in portfolio reporting, analytics or transformation performance management.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation portfolios.
- Strong numerical, analytical and insight-generation capability.
- No mandatory certification required. Relevant experience in portfolio analytics, transformation reporting, data management or change delivery is more important than a specific qualification.
- Strong written and spoken English required.
