Job Description

David Weekley Homes is looking for a Director of People Technology and Process to join our team. This role will lead the strategy, execution and continuous improvement for our People operations and HR technology.

Key Responsibilities

People Operations & Service Delivery:

  • Responsible for ensuring our processes, systems, and data are reliable, simple, and scalable as the business continues to grow and evolve
  • Design and operate a scalable model that delivers consistent, high-quality support to the field and internal partners
  • Simplify and standardize processes to reduce administrative burden and improve clarity for leaders and Team Members
  • Establish clear ownership, service expectations, and operating rhythms across People Operations
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and reliability across processes while maintaining a strong service mindset

HR Technology:

  • Own and lead the technology ecosystem, including UKG and related tools
  • Partner closely with IS, vendors, and functional leaders to improve system performance, usability, and integration
  • Assess current-state usage of HR technology and lead development of a clear technology roadmap
  • Drive adoption of systems through improved user experience, training, documentation, and change management
  • Ensure People technology supports onboarding, performance processes, compensation, reporting, and talent initiatives effectively

Data, Reporting & Insights:

  • Establish trusted People data and reporting, that leaders can rely on for decision-making
  • Reduce manual data gathering and reconciliation across People processes
  • Build foundational analytics capability that supports trend analysis, forecasting, and workforce planning

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR Technology, or related HR leadership roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required
  • Strong working knowledge of HR operations, payroll, data governance, and service delivery models
  • Experience with HRIS platforms required; UKG experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting a dispersed, field-based organization preferred
  • Strong project management, problem-solving and leadership skills
