Directs functions and activities of Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in conjunction with Provider Department Chair in a Dyad management model.
Provides vision and develops short and long term strategic plans. Ensures quality of care and support, efficient and profitable operations by planning, directing and coordinating all administrative functions. Oversees the development and maintenance of policy and procedures. Oversees the preparation and application of budgets. Responsible for the development and implementation of all plans to improve operations. Promotes the use of effective communication skills to all staff within their areas of responsibility to enhance teamwork and build on effective, efficient operations.
Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field required, master's preferred.
Must have at least five years managerial experience in a healthcare field. Must have thorough knowledge of administrative, management, and process improvement principles as well as knowledge of payer reimbursement.
Must maintain national and state licensure/certification required by your profession.
