Reporting to the Vice President of Origination, the Director of Origination will play a critical leadership role in commercializing TerraForm’s development pipeline and operating portfolio across utility-scale renewable assets. This individual will own the end-to-end origination and execution of offtake transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and closing Power Purchase Agreements and other commercial arrangements with utilities, municipalities, and corporate partners.
The role sits at the intersection of market strategy, project development, and transaction execution and requires deep market knowledge, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to lead complex cross-functional processes. The Director will be a key contributor to offtake origination strategy, pricing discipline, and portfolio monetization decisions, while building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders that provide the foundation of our projects. Final strategic and investment approvals will be held by the Vice President of Origination and senior leadership.
Compensation: $190,000-$210,000 USD, bonus eligible
