Job Description

At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses.

The Director, Order Transformation leads future-state design and delivery work that supports how Order Operations will scale, evolve, and operate over time. This role owns transformation priorities for reimbursement operations, including new platforms and enterprise initiatives, automation, future-state process design, transformation delivery, benefits realization, and change adoption. The Director partners closely with Order Excellence, Order Operations, Operational Excellence, IT, Finance, RCM, Patient Services, Sales, and other cross-functional leaders to ensure transformation work is grounded in operational needs, connected to the business, and positioned for successful adoption.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Lead the Order Transformation function responsible for future-state design, transformation delivery, governance for new platforms and enterprise initiatives, automation, and capability building across reimbursement operations.
  • Provide leadership for transformation initiatives such as new platforms and enterprise initiatives, automation, future-state workflows, and operating model changes that impact Order Operations and related teams.
  • Partner with Order Excellence to ensure transformation priorities reflect operational needs, frontline feedback, process realities, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Translate business priorities, operational pain points, and future-state goals into clear transformation roadmaps, project plans, decision-making routines, and implementation approaches.
  • Lead program and portfolio delivery for transformation efforts, including scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, stakeholder alignment, and benefits realization.
  • Serve as a business product and process partner for technology-enabled change, ensuring requirements, workflows, adoption needs, and operational impacts are clearly defined.
  • Build structured feedback loops with Order Excellence, Core Order Operations, Operational Excellence, RCM, Patient Services, Sales, IT, Finance, Compliance, and other partners to support successful transformation delivery.
  • Lead change management and adoption activities so new tools, processes, and operating routines are understood, implemented, and sustained by impacted teams.
  • Use data, process insights, and business metrics to evaluate transformation effectiveness, identify barriers, and recommend adjustments.
  • Lead, coach, and develop transformation team members while reinforcing accountability, prioritization, clear communication, and cross-functional partnership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, operations, technology, finance, analytics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience leading transformation, operations, process improvement, technology-enabled change, program delivery, healthcare operations, reimbursement operations, or related work.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including experience leading teams, cross-functional programs, or enterprise initiatives.
  • Experience leading complex transformation initiatives from business case and future-state design through implementation, adoption, and benefits realization.
  • Strong ability to translate business needs, operational pain points, risks, costs, benefits, and expected outcomes into clear recommendations and executive-level decisions.
  • Experience partnering across operations, technology, finance, compliance, sales, patient services, reimbursement, and senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel as business needs require.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree such as MBA, MHA, or related graduate degree.
  • Medical device, durable medical equipment, payer, provider, prior authorization, reimbursement, revenue cycle, or healthcare operations experience.
  • Experience leading large-scale platform implementation, enterprise initiatives, automation, operating model change, or technology adoption.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, process improvement, project/program management, product management, analytics, or change management certification.
  • Experience building transformation roadmaps, governance routines, business cases, executive updates, adoption plans, or benefits realization frameworks.

Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.

$132,900$199,290 USD
