Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Domain Head to lead and drive the strategic development and governance of the GO Portal, End User Development (EUD) and Enterprise Reconciliation platforms, including VBA, Python desktop applications, Microsoft Power Automate and Data Integrity Manager. As the subject matter expert (SME), you will be the central point of contact for all related tools and solutions within Group Operations, ensuring alignment with business needs, technology standards, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the GO Portal, EUD and Enterprise Reconciliation domain strategy to support business automation and process optimisation across Group Operations.
- Serve as the SME and trusted advisor for all solutions built on GO Portal, VBA, Python, Power Automate and Data Integrity Manager platforms
- Lead the design, development and delivery of high-impact automation solutions that address complex operational challenges.
- Lead and mentor through example: hands-on contributor who writes code and actively participates in development
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Risk, Compliance, and Business Units, to ensure solutions are robust, secure, and scalable.
- Govern and enhance standards, best practices, and usage guidelines for EUD and Enterprise Reconciliation tools, driving consistency and reusability.
- Proactively identify automation opportunities and lead initiatives from concept to deployment.
- Mentor and support a network of citizen developers and technical stakeholders across the organization.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on domain performance, key initiatives, and innovation opportunities.
- Responsible for driving and reviewing deep dive analysis information into areas of user needs to best understand the current trends and existing conditions.
- Provide support to Unit Testing, System Integration Test and User Acceptance Test and manage the defects raised for UT, SIT and UAT.
Other responsibilities
- Adheres to all applicable procedures, company policies and any other quality or regulatory requirements.
- Any other responsibilities/ tasks as assigned by the management from time to time.
- Use verbal and written communication skills to create training materials and advise other members on the best ways to use various technology to solve problems.
Work Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in process automation, business technology, or application development, with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-grade solutions
- Deep expertise in coding (e.g. Python) and database queries (e.g. MySQL)
- Relevant University experience in technical implementation, programming and IT projects
- Preferable experience in data management, i.e. ETL, data enrichment and technical design
- Preferable experience in web-based technologies
- Exposure in a collaborative multi-disciplinary and environment.
- Experience working in a complex, regulated enterprise environment (e.g. financial services, operations, or shared services) is highly desirable
