
The Director, Operations Support & Planning is responsible for leading the strategic planning, operational readiness, and enterprise planning functions that enable Signature Aviation's global Operations organization to execute against business priorities. This role serves as a key strategic partner to Operations leadership, aligning operational capacity, organizational resources, technology initiatives, and cross-functional programs to support sustainable growth and operational excellence. The Director establishes the governance, planning disciplines, and operating rhythms that ensure operational initiatives are prioritized, resourced, and executed effectively across the enterprise. Working closely with executive leaders across Operations, Workforce Optimization, Technology, HR, Finance, Safety, and Learning, this leader develops both short- and long-term operational strategies that balance business demand with organizational capacity while improving execution, scalability, and field readiness.
This role is responsible for creating visibility into enterprise operational priorities, identifying resource constraints before they impact execution, and ensuring field teams have the tools, processes, and support necessary to successfully implement company initiatives. The Director also leads continuous improvement efforts that strengthen operational effectiveness, simplify field operations, and enhance the customer experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the development of enterprise operational roadmaps that align with strategic business objectives and executive priorities.
Establish governance frameworks for evaluating, prioritizing, sequencing, and monitoring operational initiatives across the organization.
Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable operational plans and implementation strategies.
Maintain the enterprise Operations portfolio, providing visibility into major initiatives, dependencies, milestones, and organizational readiness.
Facilitate executive planning processes that align operational priorities with available organizational resources.
Own enterprise operational capacity planning across field operations and operational support functions.
Develop forecasting models that anticipate operational workload, staffing requirements, project demand, and future resource needs.
Partner with Workforce Optimization, HR, Finance, Learning, Technology, and Operations leaders to ensure organizational capacity supports growth, acquisitions, seasonal demand, and strategic initiatives.
Proactively identify capacity constraints, competing priorities, and execution risks while recommending mitigation strategies to executive leadership.
Develop dashboards and executive reporting that provide visibility into organizational capacity, workload utilization, project demand, resource availability, and planning effectiveness.
Establish project governance standards, implementation milestones, risk management practices, and executive reporting processes that improve delivery consistency across Operations.
Evaluate operational processes, tools, and support models to improve scalability, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
Lead initiatives that simplify operational processes, reduce administrative burden for field teams, and improve operational consistency.
Partner across the business to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, customer experience, and execution quality.
Define and monitor key performance indicators that measure the effectiveness, adoption, and business impact of operational programs and initiatives.
Oversee core operational support processes and enterprise operational disciplines, including operational compliance activities, QBV tracking, operational tools, task management, and other functions that support consistent execution across the field.
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
Proven ability to balance multiple complex priorities while delivering measurable business results in a fast-paced environment.
