What you’ll do:
The Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day activities of all non-clinical departments, ensuring that the organization is managed and performed efficiently.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Work collaboratively and under supervision of the VP to oversee all operational workflows/processes for the Massachusetts market.
- Develop strategy and contribute insight for new market and denovo growth opportunities.
- Direct responsibility and oversight of management team for Orthopedic/Physical Therapy front desk, call center, revenue cycle, clinical and administrative function
- Evaluate on an ongoing basis the efficiency of business procedures according to the organization’s objectives and apply appropriate improvements.
- Manage procurement processes, coordinate material and resources allocation.
- Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage relationships and agreements with external partners/vendors.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Participate in the hiring and training of departmental managers.
- Conduct necessary operational assessments and develop/direct plans for integrating and streamlining workflows.
- Participation in preparation of annual operating and project budgets
- Oversee external authorization vendor and analytic relating to performance.
- Serve as a member of the denials management committee and implement corrective actions for local practice issues identified.
- Coach staff providing feedback and constructive critique of work, facilitate the development of their problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Serve as admin for local EMR and coordinate training with internal staff/educator.
- Oversight of special projects as needed.
- Other operational duties as necessary
QualificationsWho you are:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or business administration; MBA preferred. 3-5 years in a senior managerial business position may substitute for education
- Strong business acuity with solid knowledge of operations management
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Diligent and proactive results-driven personality
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
- Proficient in MS Office and computer systems
- Collaborative and able to motivate and energize cross functional team members to achieve aggressive goals.
- Strong problem-solving, and analytical skills, able to facilitate discussions among groups with diverse technical expertise to reach solutions.
