
Director of Vendor Programs
Location: Prefer Salt Lake City, Utah however open to remote
Compensation $85K - $115K + commission
Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This is a financially focused role responsible for managing active vendor programs and negotiating new ones across equipment categories including printers, batteries, forklift dealers, and others. The Director of Vendor Programs owns program structure, deal pricing, and the vendor contact relationship from initial onboarding through handoff to an Account Liaison. As the role and program portfolio grow, this position may take on direct management of Account Liaisons responsible for handling accounts within the program. This role requires both the financial precision to administer programs accurately and the presence to develop vendor relationships and drive program adoption. Travel up to 24 weeks per year for vendor visits, program customer engagement, and broader relationship development.
What You Will Do
Program Management and Development
Manage active vendor programs across equipment categories including printers, batteries, forklift dealers, and others, maintaining rate accuracy, documentation, and compliance with agreement terms.
Identify, pursue, and negotiate new vendor program opportunities in coordination with business development leadership.
Build and maintain internal rate cards and program reference materials used by the broader team.
Monitor program performance and surface opportunities to expand or restructure existing agreements based on volume and market conditions.
Deal Pricing and Sales Support
Price transactions within the parameters of each vendor program agreement.
Conduct rate and margin analysis to confirm deals meet the company's return requirements prior to submission.
Review pricing submitted by other team members for program compliance before credit or vendor approval.
Coordinate with credit and operations when deal structure requires exception or escalation.
Provide pricing, sales, and account management support to the broader team as needed.
Assist with billing inquiries, payment processing, and collections efforts in collaboration with the finance team.
Vendor and Customer Relationships
Travel to vendor locations and customer sites to establish and maintain relationships in person.
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor representatives during program onboarding, pipeline reviews, and escalations.
Engage with vendor program customers to support active transactions and sustain program participation.
Conduct regular vendor meetings to review pipeline, address issues, and identify growth opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of all vendor and customer contacts, communications, and program status in the CRM.
Contact Onboarding and Account Management
Guide new clients through the leasing process, ensuring all necessary documentation and materials are provided to customers and then completed accurately and efficiently.
Own the onboarding process for new vendor contacts from introduction through first completed transaction.
Execute handoffs to the assigned Account Liaison with complete context and open items documented.
Manage Account Liaisons responsible for accounts within the program as the role and portfolio expand.
Act as the primary point of contact (or work with the company’s established point of contact) for customer inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
What You Bring
3+ years in equipment leasing, commercial finance, or vendor program management.
Demonstrated ability to price and structure lease or loan transactions.
Experience reading and applying commercial finance agreement terms to live deals.
Track record managing external vendor or partner relationships, including travel-based relationship development.
Experience supporting or managing sales and account management functions.
Strong proficiency in Excel; comfortable in a CRM environment.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 24 weeks per year.
Experience in printer, battery, material handling, or capital equipment sectors is a plus.
