Job Description

Luxury resort has an opportunity for a Director of Utilities.
This role will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all water and wastewater 
operations, maintenance, and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong 
leadership, financial acumen, and technical knowledge of water, sewer systems, and relevant 
regulations with asset lifecycle management, resilience and long-term sustainability.
Performance Metrics:
• Direct daily operations of water treatment, distribution, wastewater collection/treatment, 
and fleet services. 
• Develop and implement long-term master plans for water/wastewater infrastructure and 
capital improvements.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local environmental and utility regulations.
• Prepare and manage operating/capital budgets, oversee utility enterprise funds, and justify 
rate adjustments.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Public Administration, or related field.
• Proven leadership and extensive experience in utility operations, planning, and management.
• Strong understanding of water/wastewater systems, utility software, and regulatory 
requirements.
• Exceptional financial management, strategic planning, problem-solving, and team 
leadership.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for diverse audiences
