Your role:

As a senior member of the Testing capability for the Australia & New Zealand market unit, you will provide measurable business value through differentiated, AI-enabled testing services and platform-led delivery. This role blends delivery, architectural credibility, solution orchestration, client advocacy, and being a trusted advisor to win high-impact programmes, and improve outcomes across coverage, reliability, speed, and cost of quality with World Class Test Delivery as the focus.

• Contribute to the A/NZ Quality Engineering delivery of the global testing strategy and the Test Capability Office (TCO) blueprint.
• Develop and coach internal capability (including graduates, and reskilling paths) to address emerging needs (AI testing, data & model quality, cloud-native, microservices, integration, and security).
• Lead from the front during critical deliveries, escalations, recovery programmes, bid presentations and solutioning for RFP’s, where required.
• Navigate organisational dynamics with maturity and political awareness; work proactively with sales, delivery, (delivery of AI, Architecture & Consulting (DAC) , AI Quality Engineering Platform Engineering (APE), and account leadership.
• Represent Capgemini at conferences, industry events, analyst briefings, and client councils.
• Contribute to solution narratives for pursuits; champion “quality by design” and platform-first approaches.
• Partner with DAC to embed quality in solution architecture (shift-left/right, testability, security-first, observability, and data lineage).
• Partner with APE to define and drive adoption of the quality engineering platform (automation frameworks, GenAI accelerators, test data & environment services, performance engineering toolchains etc).
• Govern technical standards, blueprints, and reusable assets across APAC Testing accounts.
• Oversee technical assurance across high-impact deliveries (solution design, integration into CI/CD, guardrails for LLMs/GenAI, environment and data readiness).
• Enable continuous improvement through metrics-driven insights, SRE/observability practices, and defect economics.
• Help maximise utilisation, manage bench, and improve portfolio margin.
• Influence pricing, solution shaping, and cost-to-serve levers through platform reuse, automation, offshore, nearshore, and right shore strategies.

Your profile:

• 15+ years in Quality Engineering/Software Engineering, interfacing with and influencing CxO level stakeholders.
• Track record of leading complex, multi-country quality engineering engagements, and programmes; turning around at-risk deliveries; establishing platform-led testing at scale.
• Technical experience of Cloud-native & microservices, AI-first design, contract testing, service virtualisation.
• CI/CD, DevSecOps, SRE/observability awareness.
• Test automation awareness and ability to provide valuable thought leadership
• AI/GenAI Testing thought leadership on prompt safety, model performance/robustness, guardrails, lineage & governance from a QE perspective.
• Leadership Style: Mature, politically astute, calm in a crisis; leads by influence and example; excellent written/oral communication.
• Education: STEM degree required; MBA or equivalent commercial exposure preferred.
• Travel: Willing and able to travel interstate and occasionally internationally
