Summary:
The Director of Technology Governance & Resilience serves as the central owner of the bank’s technology governance framework, including third-party risk management, change management (CAB), incident response, vendor oversight, and business continuity planning.
This role ensures the bank maintains an examiner-ready posture across all governance domains and aligns technology operations with FFIEC guidance, enterprise risk management, and board reporting expectations.
Primary Responsibilities:
The duties listed below are some of the duties that may be assigned and may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
- Own and manage Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program
- Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) and enforce change governance controls
- Lead Incident Response program, including testing and post-incident reviews
- Own Business Continuity Planning (BCP), including annual testing and updates
- Provide oversight of vendor management and third-party lifecycle
- Develop governance policies, procedures, and standards
- Deliver reporting to IT Steering Committee, ERM, and Board-level committees
- Coordinate with CRO/ERM on enterprise technology risk
- Lead audit and regulatory engagement for all governance functions
- Serve as primary contact for regulatory inquiries related to technology governance
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of 3-5 individuals

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Risk Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years in risk management, governance, or resilience roles
- 3+ years in leadership
- Strong knowledge of FFIEC, regulatory expectations, and banking risk frameworks
- Experience with TPRM, BCP, IR, and change management processes
- Strong communication and executive reporting experience
- Certifications: CISA, CRISC, CBCP, or equivalent
- Experience supporting regulatory exams
- Vendor risk and program design experience
- Familiarity with banking technology and core platforms
