Job Description

David Weekley Homes is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead their Build To Rent (BTR) Division: Integrity Community Builders (ICB). The Director of Supply Chain will lead and manage the BTR Supply Chain Team to ensure the most cost-effective and highest quality resources are available. They will accomplish this by working closely with local Purchasing/Construction Teams and by competitively bidding all construction categories for each BTR project.

  • Responsible for the accuracy of sales-related National BTR Plan Lineup hard cost budgets and proformas for key cities.
  • Create strategies to continually improve our cost positions within various markets.
  • Provide cost and details for investor price requests.
  • Participate in feature reviews with BTR Operations Teams, present new products for consideration, update related documents, and communicate any changes.
  • Assemble and direct the project bid process.
  • Schedule from request for proposal (RFP) setup through contract agreement.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain/purchasing within the multi-family and/or single family new-home construction industry.
  • 6+ years of people leadership and management experience. Recruiting, hiring, training, growing, and managing a team of direct reports.

Additional Information

Multi-day travel at least once a month throughout the region.
