Cardo Systems is seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain (SCM) to lead and optimize the company’s global supply chain operations supporting the production and distribution of millions of consumer electronic products annually.

The Director of SCM will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of order fulfillment, logistics, and supply planning across Cardo’s global manufacturing and distribution network. The role requires strong operational leadership, analytical capability, and strategic thinking to ensure supply continuity, cost efficiency, and high service levels in a complex, multi-regional supply chain environment.

The position manages three core teams: Order Management, Logistics (including global freight forwarding and the Israel warehouse), and Planning & Control, which supports production planning across multiple factories and distribution hubs.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience from consumer electronics, telecommunications, or other high-volume global manufacturing environments, combined with strong leadership capabilities and the ability to operate within an AI-enabled, data-driven supply chain organization

Full-time position in a hybrid model (from the company’s offices at Raanana/from home), reporting to VP Operations & Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Leadership

  • Lead the overall global supply chain operations, ensuring alignment between demand, production capacity, and distribution capabilities.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support Cardo’s growth, operational resilience, and customer service targets.
  • Oversee supply chain processes, including order fulfillment, demand and supply planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
  • Drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance by focusing on efficiency, service levels, and cost optimization

Team Management

Directly manage and develop three core teams:

  • Order Management Team – responsible for order processing, allocation, and customer fulfillment coordination.
  • Logistics Team – responsible for global transportation, freight forwarding, customs compliance, and the Israel warehouse operations.
  • Planning & Control Team – responsible for production planning and inventory control, supporting multiple manufacturing partners and distribution centers.

Build a high-performance supply chain organization with clear KPIs, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Global Logistics & Distribution

  • Manage global logistics operations, including air and sea freight, customs compliance, and international distribution flows
  • Oversee operations of the Israel warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management and outbound logistics performance.
  • Optimize global freight strategies to balance cost, speed, and reliability

Planning & Production Support

  • Lead integrated supply planning processes supporting high-volume production across multiple EMS/ODM partners and global facilities
  • Ensure accurate demand translation into production plans, inventory targets, and supply allocation.
  • Maintain robust supply chain risk mitigation and business continuity planning.

Operational Excellence & Data-Driven Management

  • Implement advanced supply chain analytics, forecasting methodologies, and performance dashboards.
  • Utilize AI-enabled tools and digital platforms to enhance demand forecasting, logistics optimization, and operational decision-making.
  • Drive process standardization and automation to improve scalability and operational transparency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Sales, and Product teams to align commercial demand with operational capabilities.
  • Support new product introductions by integrating supply chain readiness into NPI processes.

Requirements

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or MBA – advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Supply Chain Management roles, preferably within organizations with annual revenues exceeding USD 100 million.
  • Experience in consumer electronics, telecommunications, or other high-volume manufacturing industries
  • Proven track record managing global logistics, supply planning, and order fulfillment operations.
  • Experience working with international manufacturing partners, global distribution networks, and multi-regional supply chains.
  • Hands-on experience working with ERP systems such as Priority ERP, Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, 3PL Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and PLM Arena to manage supply chain data, inventory visibility, and operational performance.

  • Knowledge of import/export and trade compliance (Israel focus with multi‑region exposure).
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration (Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, Engineering, QA, CS).
  • Languages: Fluent English & Hebrew.
