ABOUT THE ROLE

We are conducting a confidential search for a Director of Spa on behalf of a luxury hotel in Philadelphia. This is a well-established, high-volume spa operation with a strong, established team and an impressive revenue footprint. The incoming Director inherits a thriving culture and is expected to lead with vision, warmth, and operational excellence.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead daily spa and fitness operations to the highest luxury standards

• Develop, coach, and inspire a large team, fostering a culture of engagement and excellence

• Deliver consistently exceptional, personalized guest experiences

• Drive revenue through strategic programming, retail, pricing, and promotions

• Collaborate closely with Marketing and PR on activations, promotions, and brand visibility

• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and operational standards

• Monitor industry trends and introduce innovative wellness programming

WHAT YOU BRING

• 3-4+ years of experience at the Director of Spa level, seasoned leaders only

• Luxury hotel spa background required; Forbes-rated spa experience strongly preferred

• A people-first leadership style engaging, principled, and hands-on

• Proven ability to build and sustain high-performing teams

• High-volume spa management experience

• Strong business acumen: budgeting, forecasting, and revenue strategy

• Collaborative approach with cross-functional hotel teams

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong team player with a player-coach mentality

• Valid U.S. work authorization
