We’re hiring a Director of Solution Engineering to lead and scale our pre-sales function. You’ll personally own the most strategic deals while leading the team and playbooks that let us win the next ten. You’ll lead a small, senior team of Solution Engineers today (2 to 4) and scale it as the business grows. As ASAPP expands, the role grows with it.
Support Strategic Deals Directly. Lead discovery, demos, architecture deep-dives, and POCs for our largest prospects.
Build the team. Hire, develop, and retain a bar-raising SE team. Set the standard for technical storytelling, discovery rigor, and demo craft.
Own the technical win. Partner with Sales Leadership on deal strategy. Translate CXP’s capabilities into outcomes that resonate with customer executives.
Engineer repeatability. Design demos, reference architectures, and POC frameworks that scale without diluting quality.
Close the loop with Product. Convert competitive signals, gaps, and breakthrough wedges into clear input that shapes the roadmap.
De-risk the handoff. Set Implementation up to deliver in weeks, not quarters.
10+ years in Solution / Sales Engineering, with 5+ leading SE teams.
A track record of winning large enterprise deals in CX, contact center, AI/ML, or enterprise SaaS.
Genuine technical depth: you can whiteboard a Genesys, Amazon Connect or Salesforce integration and answer LLM evaluation, security, and data-residency questions without phoning a friend.
Executive presence with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of CX, plus the willingness to be hands-on in a demo.
Builder’s instincts: you’ve designed the playbooks and stood up the process, not just inherited them.
