Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Director of Programs is responsible for evaluating and directing the care and supervision of clients, and staff, for all social service programs. The Director formulates and plans all phases of programs and oversees program operations in accordance with Salvation Army policies and procedures, and contract regulations. The Program Director implements and oversees program operations, continually evaluates the effectiveness of services provided, and seeks new funding opportunities to address community needs and support program development. The Program Director also encourages community participation and support for programs within the local Corps.

Material and spiritual support is our standard - social services delivered with compassion is our model - anyone in need is our prerequisite. Eighty-two cents of every dollar we raise supports our various programs. We are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, and contributions are deductible for Federal Income Tax Purposes to the extent permitted under Section 170(b)(2) for corporations.
