The Director of Slots is responsible for the long range and daily direction, planning, and operations of the Slot Department and the Sportsbook Department to ensure optimal performance levels and to achieve company goals, in full accordance with all Company Operational Policies and Procedures and Gaming regulations.
Obtain optimum efficiency, cleanliness, economy of operations and maximum profitability by performing duties personally or through subordinate managers/supervisors

Bachelor’s Degree and (5) years of related gaming experience, at least five (5) of which are specific to Slot or Electronic Gaming operations, and at least three (3) years as a supervisor, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Two (2) years of Class III Gaming experience preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Must operate effectively in a deadline-oriented and multi-task environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older and be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Horseshoe Indianapolis is a smoking establishment, therefore must be able to work in a smoking environment.
Must be able to work in a highly populated fast-paced and noisy environment.
Sensitive Key Access. This position has access to the sensitive areas within the Slot Operations.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
