The strategic direction

Our organisation is moving from a traditional product‑focused approach towards a broader and more commercially driven category management model. This transformation involves shifting from new‑product and launch‑driven activities to a stronger end‑to‑end responsibility for market growth, including active life‑cycle management. The focus is expanding from individual products to a holistic commercial perspective, where pricing, channel strategy, marketing, product portfolio considerations, and partnerships are viewed together to drive growth across categories.

Overall, the change strengthens our commercial and business development capabilities and supports the development of cohesive strategic portfolio and growth plans across categories. What we offer

As Director, you will lead a highly skilled and collaborative team of 8 professionals dedicated to category management and product marketing. Together, we shape the future of our Sloped Roof Windows category, ensuring it remains competitive and relevant in a global market. As the Director in this area, you will set the strategic direction, drive prioritization with focus on sales growth and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results. You will have the opportunity to influence the future of our core business and drive revenue and growth in key markets.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:

• Define and execute the category strategy for Sloped Roof Windows, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including in-market performance, repositioning, and end-of-life decisions.
• Drive portfolio optimisation and identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation alongside Managing Directors in markets.
• Develop pricing, channel, and value strategies to strengthen market position.
• Lead, inspire and empower your team to deliver on strategic initiatives and ambitious goals.
• Collaborate with R&D, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment and execution of plans.

What you will bring

You are an experienced product leader with strong strategic and execution skills. You thrive in a dynamic environment and have a proven ability to deliver results through proactive leadership and strong stakeholder management capabilities across all levels and functions of the business.

Moreover, we expect that you:

• Have solid experience within product management, ideally from companies combining hardware and mechanical components, such as hearing aids, consumer electronics, power tools, or robotics.
• Are an experienced people leader, with a demonstrated ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
• Possess international experience and the ability to manage global product strategies.
• Have a strong understanding of pricing, channel strategy, and value proposition development.
• Demonstrate a track record of driving growth through portfolio management and category development.
• Are proactive, strategic, and capable of executing plans that deliver measurable results.
