The Sales Director – Walmart will be responsible for creating and driving the annual operating plan for Walmart that will result in the delivery of sales and profit growth of existing and new products, leading the Walmart team, and will be key member of the Food Drug Mass leadership team. This position is responsible for leading and developing a long-term strategic partnership between customer and company while ensuring sales, profit, and key objectives are attained.

What will your day look like?
-   Lead the Walmart team in addition to role modeling the company's strategic interests and values. Promotes a culture of continuous learning and improvement and enthusiastically embraces change. Manages and monitors goal setting, score carding and tracking of performance to ensure consistent attainment of goals.
- Creates trusting/strong relationships with key decision makers and has deep understanding of customer strategic interests, priorities and growth opportunities across all customer departments.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that deliver a competitive advantage, exceed Walmart’s expectations and drive productive growth, including assortment growth, new product launches, promotional vehicles and plan-o-gram enhancements.
- Knows how to spot and capitalize on opportunities and can secure senior management support for key business opportunities. Effectively lead and execute every step of the customer’s sales process.
- Takes leadership of team in the preparation, planning and development of key sales presentations, including product line reviews, and quarterly promo submissions.  Leads and directs collaboration of cross functional teams in regard to customer objectives, strategy formulation, presentation framework, negotiations and execution.
- Conduct store and market walks, and meet with Walmart stakeholders to discuss key initiatives and local opportunities to drive growth of our mutual businesses.
- Works with Cincinnati teams to optimize sales, incremental opportunities, leveraging best in class analytics/replenishment/marketing/operations and private company capabilities to ensure the needs of the customer are clearly communicated and factored into annual plans.
- Collaborates with Operations and Brand teams to develop strategies and execute customer specific programs to drive sales and share growth through positive outcomes supporting financial targets for each brand
- Oversee Budgeting & Forecasting process.  Create collaborative environment between Gorilla Team and Walmart’s Supply Chain to achieve forecast accuracy.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, reading professional publications, participating in professional networking organizations.
- Other duties assigned by management.

QualificationsWhat will you bring to the table?
- - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar field.
- - MBA Preferred.
- - 5 – 7 years of leadership experience
- - 7 – 10  years proven track record in sales and at least 5 years’ experience directly with the Walmart account
- - Demonstrated proficiency of exceptional marketing and sales skills.
- - Strong analytic skill set with the ability to provide actionable recommendations based on critical metrics.
- - Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- - Managerial abilities and leadership qualities.
- -  Ability to build, maintain, and persuade customer relationships.
- -  Self-motivated nature and ability to perform under pressure.
- -  Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
