Job DetailsJob Location: UT Corp - Orem, UT 84057ION Home Services is seeking a highly driven, hands-on Director of Sales to lead revenue growth for our Roofing division. This role is responsible for managing and scaling a high-performing outside and door-to-door (D2D) sales organization, driving consistent results across multiple markets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in field sales leadership, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about building teams that execute at a high level.
As the ION Home Services Director of Sales, you will own sales performance end-to-end—setting strategy, driving accountability, and ensuring execution against aggressive growth targets. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring frequent travel (2–3 weeks per month) to support teams in the field and maintain strong operational alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and scale a team of outside and D2D sales representatives across multiple markets
Own sales performance, including revenue targets, conversion rates, and overall efficiency
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive consistent growth and market expansion
Establish clear performance expectations, track KPIs, and hold team members accountable to results
Manage to a defined budget, optimizing spend to maximize ROI and profitability
Recruit, train, and develop top sales talent, building a strong leadership bench
Travel 2–3 weeks per month to work directly with field teams, provide coaching, and ensure execution
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Leadership to align on goals and initiatives
Implement systems and processes to improve sales productivity, reporting, and forecasting accuracy
Foster a high-performance culture centered on accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a strong background in outside and/or D2D sales
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing sales teams
Experience managing to budgets, forecasts, and performance targets
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (2–3 weeks per month)
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
